Group training classes are a great way to bond with your dog and learn how to teach them basic behaviors, but like any class, they require a lot of time, often include homework, and you can’t expect a one-on-one lesson every week.
Our Play & Train program solves those problems by having one of our qualified staff members lay the groundwork for you while you’re busy at work or relaxing on vacation.
Our Play & Train program covers a series of manners and commands that will give your pups the basis they’ll need to be polite and engaged members of your family! It also includes fun activities that your dog enjoys – especially helpful when they are boarding with us to allow them some extra one-on-one playtime!
Customized Sessions

At Sweet Paws Retreat, we are aware that training is not “one size fits all”, and therefore, the sessions will be customized based on your individual goals and each session will be set at a comfortable pace for your dog!
Play & Train is available to dogs that have passed a Sweet Paws Retreat temperament evaluation and are eligible for daycare and boarding. Sessions can be purchased individually or as a 5-Session package.
For dogs that are new to basic obedience and learning good manners, our Play & Train 5-Session package is the way to go.
